For this sixth issue of Note Note Collection, Max Pinckers celebrates being together. Whether he is in the company of one or several people, in front of or behind the camera, the Belgian photographer notes that he has never taken a photograph alone. As a form that lies somewhere between documentary and imagination, photography is much more than a mere representation of reality for Pinckers. It becomes a space in which people meet; in which reality itself is transformed through the relations it weaves between the photographer and those they photograph.
